Raita Masala for Pakistani Yoghurt Sides

Arabian Farms Raita Masala is a dry seasoning blend for making flavourful homemade raita with plain yoghurt. Serve it alongside biryani, pulao, chicken tikka or everyday Pakistani meals, or use it in a yoghurt dip for snacks. Choose the available 10 g or 150 g option to suit your kitchen; select your preferred size before adding to cart.

Prepared spices for a balanced raita

Light roasting or dehydration before grinding helps enhance the spices' natural flavour and aroma and supports shelf life. The blend is prepared without added preservatives, artificial additives, starch fillers or adulterants. Arabian Farms' health-first approach emphasises careful preparation rather than unnecessary additions.

How to make raita with this masala

  1. Step 1
Whisk plain yoghurt until smooth. Add cucumber or other ingredients if your chosen raita recipe calls for them.
  2. Step 2
Mix in a small amount of raita masala, stirring thoroughly to distribute the dry seasoning.
  3. Step 3
Taste and adjust gradually. Keep the prepared raita refrigerated until serving.

Raita masala is mixed into yoghurt at the finishing stage. It needs no frying or two-minute cooking step. Follow your recipe for the quantity of yoghurt and seasoning; the dry mix does not replace fresh yoghurt.

Keep the heat to your preference

Our blend is not loaded with excessive red chilli. For those who enjoy a spicier savoury yoghurt dip, add a small amount of Arabian Farms Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) separately. Begin lightly so the cooling yoghurt and aromatic seasoning remain balanced.

Foil pack and dry storage

Aluminium foil packaging helps protect the dry masala against moisture and retain its aroma. Keep the opened pack sealed in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight. Use a dry spoon, and never dip a yoghurt-covered utensil into the spice pack. Follow the best-before date printed on the packaging.

Pair it with Biryani Masala or browse Spices & Masalas for other meal seasonings.
