Biryani Masala for Pakistani Chicken, Beef and Mutton Biryani
Arabian Farms Biryani Masala is a ready-to-infuse recipe mix for the fragrant rice and richly seasoned masala base that make homemade biryani special. Use this 50 g spice blend for chicken biryani, beef biryani, mutton biryani or vegetable biryani, adjusting the amount to your recipe and preferred flavour. It brings the seasoning together without relying on excessive red chilli.
Lightly roasted before grinding
The recipe spices are lightly roasted or dehydrated before grinding to enhance their natural taste and aroma and support keeping quality. The blend contains no added preservatives, artificial additives, starch fillers or adulterants. Arabian Farms' health-first approach focuses on careful preparation and straightforward ingredients for your everyday kitchen.
When to add biryani masala
-
Step 1
Prepare your meat or vegetable masala base as usual and bring it close to readiness. Cook meat thoroughly; this spice mix does not replace the required cooking time. -
Step 2
Just before adding the rice, stir in the biryani recipe mix. Mix well through the moist masala and cook gently for about 2 minutes to let the flavour infuse. -
Step 3
Add the rice and complete your usual layering, cooking and dum method. Taste and adjust seasoning as your recipe allows.
Avoid prolonged frying of this prepared blend in very hot oil. Late-stage addition helps keep its aroma noticeable in the finished biryani.
Choose your own chilli level
The blend prioritises flavour over excessive chilli heat. For a hotter biryani, add Arabian Farms Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) separately and gradually to suit your household.
Foil packaging and storage
Packed in aluminium foil to help protect the dry masala from moisture and preserve aroma. Use a clean, dry spoon, close the pack securely after opening and store away from heat, sunlight and steam. Follow the pack's best-before guidance.
