How to use whole green cardamom
Crack a pod gently before adding to tea or a simmering dessert. Grind the seeds only when your recipe calls for cardamom powder. Keep the remaining pods sealed so they are protected between uses.
Keep the spices dry after opening
Close the pack securely and store in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight, steam and the hob. Use a clean, dry spoon and follow the pack's best-before guidance. Preserve the dry contents between uses; follow any soaking or cooking steps required by your recipe.
