Qorma Masala for Chicken Korma and Mutton Qorma
Arabian Farms Qorma Masala, also known as korma or quorma masala, is an aromatic 50 g recipe mix for a richly flavoured Pakistani qorma. Use it with your preferred chicken, mutton, beef or vegetable korma recipe to bring depth to the finished gravy. Its balanced seasoning complements your onion and yoghurt base without making excessive chilli the main flavour.
Roasted or dehydrated before grinding
Our recipe spices undergo light roasting or dehydration before being ground. This enhances their natural aroma and flavour and supports shelf life without added preservatives. The mix contains no artificial additives, starch fillers or adulterants. Arabian Farms' health-first policy guides careful preparation and ingredient quality for everyday meals.
Add qorma masala near the end
-
Step 1
Prepare your qorma base and cook the meat or vegetables thoroughly according to your recipe. -
Step 2
When the gravy is nearly ready, add the recipe masala and stir well so it disperses through the sauce. -
Step 3
Let it cook gently for about 2 minutes to infuse. Adjust the gravy consistency and complete your usual finishing steps.
This blend is already prepared for infusion, so avoid prolonged frying in very hot oil. The brief finishing step develops seasoning in a cooked curry; it does not replace the time needed to tenderise and safely cook meat.
Prefer a hotter korma?
The blend is not stretched with excessive red chilli or cheap starch. For additional heat, use Arabian Farms Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) separately, adding gradually to suit your taste. Adjust salt and the overall amount of masala according to your own recipe.
Storage for lasting aroma
The aluminium foil pack helps protect against moisture exposure and retain the dry spices' aroma. Keep it securely closed after opening, use a dry spoon and store away from sunlight, steam and heat. Refer to the packaging for best-before information.
